Terrible Place

First let me start out by saying that some of the "reviews" are obviously posted by the staff.
Which brings me to the first point, the manager is related to the owners. She has a tendency to make her own hours and leave early.
Secondly it's a great place to live if you like having your privacy invaded. They will spontaneously come into your apartment unannounced for "routine" maintenance checks. I never heard of a bi-monthly unannounced routine maintenance check until I moved here.
They include cable because the heating and air conditioning is abysmmal. You will spend no less than $150.00 in electricity to keep your place even remotely tolerable. By tolerable I mean at a comfortable 59 in the winter or 77 in the summer. Rumor has it that the bottom apartments are slightly better with the heating.
They are "flexible" with the leases if you consider that when you move out early. They charge you several months rent to break your lease.
The lease is a 1 year agreement where they make you renew it 3 months in advance. Most places require two months at most and give you the option of month to month with 60 days notice. When asked why they don't do this, the response was it is too much trouble to get a new lease written up to change the writing.
I think they make you lock in 3 months early because they can't find anyone to rent the slum housing. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
