Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
I was so thrilled to be out of Philadelphia and in the burbs. For the first year or two it went well I had no problems, the office manager worked with us and was helpful.
The noise level is high, I can hear the neighbors TV, radio and of course when he walks. I know when he flushes his toilet and takes a shower, this gets old quick.
I was home sick one day and was awoken at 7am by landscapers.. so early' can it wait'
They slap you with late fees if you rent comes in the 2nd of the month. They don't know when they come in for service.
They raise rent yearly and it is a pain to fill up the laundry card. The office says they are open late two days a week but I have been there numerous times and the office was closed.
I don't like the routine checks. I find it very invasive.
I won't even get started on the leak I had ...
I also want to point out they don't allow grills, they complain about any sort of pet... and they make it impossible to remove someone from a lease and put another one on.
They also place the heating/AC units in the bedroom and it is so loud I don't see how anyone can sleep.
I can't have a kitchen table because my kitchen slopes.
