The apartments are very nice and very spacious. Noise level is low and the occupancy rate is still low as well. The apartments in themselves are in my opinion a great deal for the money......now here is the downside....

1.) you are RIGHT next to the nuclear plant and the 2 huge cooling towers...don't expect them to tell you about it or ask you to sign a waiver as a lot of surrounding townships do....ecspecially if you are from out of town.

2.) Hwy 422 gets so backed up that if you commute almost anywhere else in the morning you better leave at least an hour and half early or be prepared to take the back winding roads.

3.) It's a bit creepy up there....very dark at night and no one is around....if you like that type of thing, then you will love this place.

4.) Don't attempt to go into Pottstown or you will be in trouble, that town is 2 seconds away from the 5 o'clock news at all times.

Hope this helps future residents....I really like the place, but after reading about cancer rates rising in the area after the nuclear plant was built, I'm definitely out of here as soon as my lease is over.

You should have done more research before you moved to Limerick. Where did you think the Limerick Nuclear power plant was located? Pottstown maybe not be a trendy Philadelphia, but it's not on the 5o'clock news, Philadelphia is on the 5o'clock news.

Seriously? Please tell me you have a degree in the sciences somewhere. Oh I'm sorry, stupidity doesn't count. Honestly, if you think you're going to get cancer from living near a power plant you should leave. Your ignorance just invokes fear in other people. As a chemical engineer (notice the science and engineering background...tends to help in giving facts), I would be more affraid of a shark attack in the middle of one of the many PA corn fields than any accident with the plant. I could go into the many different reasons why nuclear power plants are safe (safer than most electrical/gas plants), but it would be useless with someone like you. By the way, did you miss out on the nice little brochure that was in the mailboxes only a week or so after moving in? As for 422 traffic...duh. If you live out here and commute to Philly every day you will always have traffic. Actually...commuting to Philly any time of the day culminates in traffic. You should probably live closer to where you work rather than complain about traffic being so bad on the highways.
