If you are thinking of moving here, please stop by my place to see 1st hand what this place is all about. Where do I start'
-Well the best part is Maintenance. Fran is a great guy, always pleasant and extremely helpful when called. Very particular, and very polite. I wish all the staff was like him.
-Cost they dont tell you about up front. 1st, you have to show them the receipt that your carpets were PROFESSIONALLY cleaned when you move out. Of course they didnt say this up until the day I signed the lease. 2nd, $160 every quarter for sewer bill!! Yes I am serious. $160 every quarter to be paid directly to them, not the township for the sewer bill. So a young, professional couple has to pay exactly what a family of 5 has to pay. We are away 10 days plus per month, our water bill hasnt been more than $23.00 a month, yet we're paying more in a sewer bill than our water. Make sense' Again this wasnt told until we made our appointment to sign the lease. These are the definition of hidden cost.
-Now the apartment....Brand new they advertise, but the construction is comparable to something from the 50's. Walls have NO insulation. The heat hasnt even been turned on yet, (11/13/2007) but our windows are filled with condensation. I can only imagine what they'll look like once the heat goes on. You can feel the air come in under the patio door right into our dining room.
-Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors computer speakers, let alone the stero or TV's. You can hear your neighbors using the bathroom, not flushing...actually using the bathroom. Such a pleasant way to wake up. We hear our upstairs neighbor on her phone talking to people as well as her screaming at her kids on a daily basis. I've never met her children, yet I know their names. Sad this new construction is so poorly lacking in insulation.
-Management can't take care of problems. We've had an on-going problem with our neighbor since our 1st full day there, and still today, 7 months later, no resolution. Ive been told by the office to call the police and have a police report filed, done that. We've had a sit down meeting with all parties involved, done that... with no solution. I've written numerous notes to my neighbor and filed "lease violations" with the front office, STILL NO resolution. Now the latest thing is they want me to call our maintenance guy, have him come out and hear the noise for himself. No matter what time of day this is. Management treats you as if you're a liar when there's a problem. They just dont want to address the problem, they just put a band-aid on the problem when in fact it needs a few stiches. Both managers while I've been here have lacked management skills. All they want to do is sit in their big offices and eat all day, talk to those that want to smile and rave about the development. If you go there to complain or talk negatively (speak the truth) they rush you out of the office (they wont even talk to you if there are potential new residents in there) and if you call them, it takes them 3-4 days to get back to you. Speaking to neighbors all around the development, the majority express the same feelings.
I could go on and on, but I can feel my blood pressure rising from re-living these horrible experiences as I am typing this. SO please e-mail me and I'll open my door for you to come in and experience this 1st hand before you make your decision. I wish someone had done this for me, because I certainly would not have moved here. $1100 a month (Special rate too) for living with on-going problems. Come on end of my lease!!!! You can contact me at SPA27403@Allstate.com

I could not agree more with all of the above... Management/owners... major scum bags, construction sucks, My first apt as a teenager was in downtown NORRISTOWN & we had less police calls/ domestic violence incidents in THAT community, Hellholes are advertised as "new" they are OVER THREE YEARS OLD Just an idea- why not file small claims suit for loss of "quiet enjoyment" against High Assoc for failing to control those problem tenants? Filing fees are about $80, you can go "Pro Se", and maybe you could get High Assoc motivated to do something about your problem neighbors OR aggravate them enough to get them to let you out of your lease...

I wrote the heed my advice article last week, but I forgot to add this. When we 1st looked at this apartment, they dangled the carrot in front of us and we took the bait hook line & sinker. They offered a $500 Wa-Wa gift card if you signed your application within the 1st 24 hours after your 1st visit. So they give you this ???gift??? to rush your decision, which I am sure a lot of residents have done, and so you don???t have time to review or really think about it. I???m a sucker I know, but looking back I now realize why they have to use those kinds of tactics. They don???t want people to read these reviews or talk to current residents to have their true colors come out. Again, my place is available for those that want the real life living, and not the prefect model living they show everyone. BTW???now with the snow we had overnight??? you should see the condensation on the windows.

I guess if the best part is maintenance, then you are sure to be let down now, Fran is gone and I'm sure maintenance will be less then you were used to now !!!!!!!!!
