Decent Apartment; Horrible, Rude, and UNPROFESSIONAL Leasing Manager

We have lived here for two years now. The first year was fine, but the second year was ridiculous. First off, I was working on my car which did no damage to their property, nor did it look in any case distasteful or messy. Apparently it was against the lease, which I myself was unaware of. Instead of approaching me at the time I was servicing my car, they decided to VERY RUDELY AND UNPROFESSIONALLY, write that I was in the wrong when we asked them to kindly fix out outdoor lighting for the 3rd time. Can you believe it, having the nerve to bring it up when we were asking them to fix a mistake of theirs. It was kind of like a childish game of "well we are wrong but so are you". Also, when they installed the new water heaters in all the apartments, they had left some stains on the drapery, but had the nerve to blame the stains on me, and I quote "could have been made when servicing your vehicle". Yet another game of change the blame. We are in the process of getting out of here, but to top it all off, the place we are moving into next asked for a reference from Walnut Crossing. They totally ripped on us for my car incident (which was only once and brought to our attention WAY after the fact), and our late payment, which we had written them in advance that we were going to be late due to work payment issues. Our future property manager scoffed at the tenant review and did some research for herself and found that we were never late enough to be brought into litigation, and she laughed at the car incident. Come to find out that Walnut Crossing now has 30 (give or take a few) vacant apartments. I certainly do not blame the prospective residents from not coming here. Once again, the apartments are nice, but the leasing manager and his staff are horrible.

I still live there and have never experienced any of the issues that you're talking about. Whenever we have problems, maintenance takes care of it within a day (usually), and the office staff have never been anything but courteous and helpful.
We've lived at a few places in the area over the past few years (Chestnut Pointe, Lakeview, Fox Ridge) and Walnut is the only one that we actually WANTED to renew with.
