Be aware of the facts. Expect rate increases from $15 to $35 EVERY year. Paperwork is frequently lost. Currently manager blames old manager (Janie) but I think management got worse. The garbage area frequently over flows. THOURGHLY review the apartment and you find stuff that they will hit you on when you leave. There is no installation between the top and bottom floors you hear EVERY foot step above. The water supply is horrid, high calcium deposits and EXTREMELY rapid mold growth (don't drink it). None of the switches control outlets or lights like they should (wired backwards).

I came in on a discount and since I have been in Walnut Crossing my rent has gone up 1: 3% 2:4% 3:5.5%!!!!!!!!! 4) 4% and I live in a one bedroom apt.!!!!!! When asked how high the rent will go and if there is a ceiling I got a Yes, it will go up we have expenses to cover! when I asked why I got a 5.5% rent raise the one year, my answer was "You came in on a discount!" What?! I came in on a discount and now have to pay you back?! Yep that was the answer! The manager is the worst I have ever experienced! However, the apt is great and so is the local for me right now, but I will be leaving soon.
