I'VE ONLY LIVED HERE A COUPLE OF YEARS, BUT IN THAT TIME I'VE SEEN SOME CHANGES THAT AREN'T SO NICE. IT'S NOT THE PLACE IN GENERAL,IT'S THE PEOPLE WHO ARE MOVING IN HERE. THE APARTMENTS ARE VERY NICE AND WELL KEPT. THE GROUNDS ARE ALSO VERY WELL KEPT. I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WHEN I ASKED THE OFFICE TO FIX SOMETHING-IT WAS DONE. LIKE I MENTIONED, IT'S THAT "NEWER BREED" OF RESIDENTS. THE ONE'S WHO CAN'T CONTROL THEIR NOISEY CHILDREN AND HAVE NO CONCERN FOR OTHER RESIDENTS. ALSO-YOU HAVE A LOT OF "YOUNGER ADULTS" MOVING IN THAT ALSO HAVE NO MANNERS OR CONCERN FOR OTHERS. YOU REALLY CAN'T BLAME MANAGEMENT FOR THIS BECAUSE THESE THINGS HAPPEN. A very good place to reside? Hardly!!! Brian is a good guy! Now Matt, he is the like the Verizon dude who walks round all day w/ a cell phone. "can you hear me now?" What does he do exactly all day??? Ya, keep bugging them for repairs. You pay for it. They give you a little for a lot around here!!!! No doubt, Jim was a hustler. New staff has too much related family working here. Small wonder they approve slacking off!

Matt does a lot. He's probably talking on his cell to the office. He's the one that delivers all your notices, goes to each apartment with the exterminator, picks up all the trash YOU leave, etc. Matt's usually the only one that comes to fix things in my apartment. He's a cool guy and always has a smile on his face.

I like the children.They are the only ones willing to socialize. Every one else hides in their apartments. It gives kind of a creepy feel because of it. The college crowd does not ever seem to be a problem for me. I never hear or see them. I think they have better places to party then The Laurel Manor.

Like I said in a previous post-the people who should be allowed to move in get the boot for minor mishaps and the unstable get the greenlight! It's no wonder you noticed the "change" in the type of people you call your neighbors. They will take deadbeats over professionals. So I have to disagree with you when you say it's not managements fault because it is. I was denied for having limited credit and a friend of mine had two evictions, a car repossession and criminal history. Her only plus was a part time job making minimum wage. They moved her right in! They give the wrong people exceptions.
