I moved out in March, and let me tell you, my life is so much better because of it!

My main problem was my horrible upstairs neighbors. Can we say white trash'!'!' They would fight all the time and be extremely loud...and then when I banged on the ceiling to get them to shut up, they called ME a "crazy bi$%h." It really got bad when the neighbor's boyfriend got in my face and threatened me after he was spying on me from their window and I merely mumbled something under my breath. Reported to management, but they did nothing. My last straw came when I had to work from home one day when it was snowing. It was like they were having a party!!! Once again after I was yelling and telling them to shut up, they once again threatened me.

I decided that I wasn't going to renew my lease after all. Only signed the paper that I wanted to, and not an actual lease. Well, they wouldn't cut me any break (even though my life was threatened!) and said I had to pay an extra months' rent!!!! I couldn't pay rent on two places!!! So they took my security deposit. What a crock!!

Other problems include serious bug problems (I had crickets getting in almost every day it seemed...and they were totally disgusting) definitely had some mice too (caught a baby mouse in the middle of my bedroom floor which was groggy from poison). The rent was way too high for that dump!

And don't dare think of moving there if you're a young, single woman like me. When I was on vacation and my friend was taking care of my cat, she was almost jumped by 5 men around the dumpster while taking out the litter...about 6:30 p.m. in November. She escaped, thank God, but when management was told, no alert was put out, I don't think they even called the cops about it. "We don't want to scare residents" was what I was told!

So, now that I'm officially out of there, I definitely needed to say something more. If you're thinking of renting, run!! Run now!!!
