Heaven Help Non-College Tenents

I lived at Mifflin Apartments for 4 yrs. I think the leasing to college students has made this complex more like a dorm than a living environment for working people and children. There were students in my building and they were always going in and out throughout middle of the night loud and driving through the grass etc. The maintenance does NOTHING! I was told I could have and upgrade in my apartment as part of my new lease and they never came to do the work. They claim they have newly remodeled apartments but don't look for one because they only have a few. I guess when someone says they won't move in unless they have one then they come up with one. I had some friends move in last year and they gave them the same old crappy apartment with new carpet and a paint job, no dishwasher like every 2 bedroom is supposed to now have. The sparkling pool, is really a rectangle with no diving board and a popular drop off for parents who don't mind the lifeguard watching their kids all day. The rent is high(location), because they are sitting right on top of the Governor Mifflin Schools which is one of the better schools in the area and to date the area has not yet become a slum, but between the college students and the dogs it is quickly getting there.
