These apartments are moderately priced, with 800-1050 sq/ft 1 & 2 bedrooms. They have elecric heat & Central air, but surprisingly, the elec. bills are never above $100. Very sound insulated, with the exception of noise from the hallway. The mgmt. staff is friendly and helpful, and when you call them with a problem, they are there within the half hour. We have never had a major maintenance issue, but I'm sure if we did, they would be here immediately.
The pool is clean, and a lot of people take their children. No clubhouse though. The landscaping is okay, the closer your building is to the rental office, the better it will look, but it's not trashy or anything.
There are a few things regarding the construction that are screwed up, some walls aren't completely vertical, and the kitchens and bathrooms are carpeted, which is stupid. I'm kind of a messy cook, so the kitchen carpet is stained. If you spill something hot in the kitchen, you will have melted carpet. There is a playground and a basketball court, and lots of other children. There are some people here who don't seem to be real concerned about where there children are at, but it's not a big problem. My one caveat is that there are a lot of kids from Penn State who room up to 5 in a two bedroom, and they have parties. Like I said, sound proving is excellent, so only the loudest of parties will bother you. Expect rent to go up every year. Plenty of parking. Excellent location, grocery store right across the street.
