This place has been a trainwreck since i moved in here. First of all, I received a completely different apartment than I was shown. I moved here quickly due to a job relocation, and for the first three days i didn't have water for my shower. It took them three days to decide to fix my shower, and i had nowhere to go. After that I realized they gave me an apartment with lumpy floors and boards sticking up. There was paint splattered all over the mirrors and carpets. My carpet and padding hasn't been replaced in over eight years, and it smells like mold. I am above a laundry room, so the cold air comes through the floor boards, making my carpet damp with a mildew smell. This also makes my heating bills outrageous. I have a one bedroom apartment, and i kept my heat at 65 in hopes of not having to pay for the cold air coming up from the basement, and my heating bill was still 180.00. No utilities are paid for. The amenities are a clubhouse which raised the rent 50.00. We also have free landscaping, a fan, and four bars of cell phone reception ( I get 1) as amenities. In other words, nothing is included. It takes 3-5 days at least for them to answer a work order because they have hardly any maintenence men. My tub was rotting...all the tiles were rotting and leaking onto the floor. They realized that they never changed the tub faucet and that it was full of mold and holes which rotted the rest of the tub. It was so disgusting. The washers and dryers are often out of service, and one leaked for months so they put old carpeting down to catch the water. Imagine the smell...and oh yeah...that went straight into my apartment through the floor boards. There is dingy brown carpet in the kitchen and bathroom, so you are in trouble if you ever drop anything. Also, my windows didn't lock and the kitchen cabinets are old and don't close properly. The only time they offer to change the disgusting, dirty carpet is if you don't renew your lease. I have complained about the front door ripping my carpet multiple times, and they are still assuring me that it will be fixed, but i know it won't. The rent is ridiculous. They want you to pay almost 800.00 for a one bedroom apartment and all that is included is cold water, sewer and trash. The rent also goes up 30-50 per year. Eventually my floor is going to collapse because there are so many boards sticking up. The apartments could be nice if they weren't so cheap and decided to upgrade some things. You can move to other apartment complexes in town where all of your heat and utilities are included for almost the same price as it costs to rent here. Overall the maintenance men are so nice. It isn't their fault that this place is too cheap to allow them to fix things with new, proper materials. I would not recommend these apartments...they are a waste of money.

The place was just bought by a better management company. They have a good reputation so let's see what happens now.
