South Rock Apts. located in Slippery Rock, PA are great apts. with great women working for them. The apts. closest to the office are smaller but people renting them know this. The larger newer apts. are just the same as the older apts. They have ample amount of space for 4 people to live comfortable. I have had no problems with paying rent to the office. Whenever my apt. has had any problems, the South Rock offices have been able and quick to fix and help with any problems. I feel that most people who complain about South Rock, are people who are incapable of taking the initiative to ask to fix things and when it gets to an outrageous outcome they blame everything on Joyce Shoemaker and Jen Smochek, who work at the office. This is not fair nor should be put on their shoulders. I am a good resident and feel that by me being a good resident allows for South Rock to be good for me. I also enjoy coming into the office because Joyce and Jen are very welcoming and also make you feel comfortable. I often don't like leaving the office but I know i have other things I need to do. Overall, I feel that South Rock Apts. as a whole, are a great place to live as long as you take care of your OWN space, and respect other. If you do not have that, that's where problems arise and issues with OTHERS occur. We also have a wonderful maintenanc man who is friendly and knowledgable upon anything needed.

How much did you get paid to write this review? I paid my rent on time every month for two years. My apartment had problems all the time and I called ALL THE TIME! True, Andy would come to fix stuff (sometimes days after it broke) but then he wouldn't have a solution and it remained a problem. Another problem was trash everywhere because people wouldn't take it down to the dumpster. Even after complaining, the trash was not picked up and it was great when it was parents' weekend!
