From the outside, these garden apartments look nice. Go inside and take a trip back in time to about 1960. First of all, who puts carpeting in a kitchen' And in a bathroom' The kitchen has old, 1960's, ugly dark cabinets that actually had a horrible odor when I looked inside them, like something had died inside. The stove and fridge looked okay, but again, carpet in the kitchen' Yuck. And it wasn't new carpet, either. The apartment was large, but carpeted in old, dirty-looking carpeting that God knows what is lurking in it. They claim they shampoo it, but it is beyond being helped by shampooing. The bathroom also had wall-to-wall carpeting. Imaging what could be in this carpeting, especially around the toilet area! I just threw up a little. The only positive thing I can say about the apartment is there is a charming brick wall from the living room into the dining room that gives the place a homey feel. I think if these apartments were renovated with new carpeting, cabinets and flooring in the kitchens and baths, they would be very nice. I also noticed a lot of loud, dirty-looking kids running around, in and out of the hallways. I personally hate bratty kids, so that would be a deal-breaker for me.
