I lived in Squires Manor for a short time, and it was a nightmare. I should have read these reviews before I moved in, geez. The manager, Beth, gave me a super hard time and stuck it to us every chance we got. The whole place was a bunch of overbearing busibodies that all need fired. Go to the nice townhomes across the street and rent one. Renting from individual owners is always better than some big company with all their politics and BS.

Individual owners can also be nightmares. They can sometimes make up their own rules. Besides, those townhomes are probably a fortune to rent plus you have to pay all utilities. They look nice if you can afford it.

Its not like you dont pay for utilities at Squires Manor anyway. And you REALLY pay a mint for them there. Read the other reviews. They split up the utilities in a way that is not legal. You end up paying for someone else's heating.
But I do agree with you on the point about individual owners. I've never rented from one, but have known people who do, and as you said, they make up rules as they go.
Eh, but, again, so do places like Squires Manor. Guess there is nowhere to hide.
