THEY LIE TO YOUR FACE. I have been a good tenet here since July 07 paying 655/month. My neighbor moved in like 2 months later and is paying 550/month. I went in soon after she moved in to question this and was told TO MY FACE the only thing different was the utilities addendum was, NOT the base rent. I said ok to find out a couple of months later that the different rents were for real. They sent the lease renewal and wanted to RAISE my rent to 675/month. I took my neighbor's lease in to fight the increase and was told that if I walked off the street that my rent would be 600. THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME THE RATE THAT SOMEONE WILL GET OFF THE STREET. It is ridiculous. They claim the computer will not let them.

To mr or miss anonymous above...quit your bitching. A street rate is always going to be different from the rent that a current resident is paying. Everyone pays the street amount when they first move in so obviously your neighbors rent is going to be different. And maybe you should put into perspective that your neighbor obviously has a smaller apartment than you hence their rent being lower. This is a company like any other, whatever the master in charge wants...he gets, and you have to except that or get the hell out. The people that work in the office of any apartment complex do literally everything they possibly can to ensure your happiness and if they are told not to do something by "the man", they obviously can't do it. And last but not least, your a sad and pathetic person to have to display your feelings behind a computer.

I dont disagree with the reviewer. When I went to rent here, I got one rate quoted to me and my wife another, higher, rate. When we started going in together, that ended. But, overall, it was hard to get a clear answer on what the base rent would be.
I understand what the responder is saying, that people coming in for the first time often get the bargains since complexes are always trying to bring in everyone thay can, but that is not the case here. It is likely that the new renter is paying the default "base rent" and the poster is paying a balloned base rent.

Wow, I need to go stay at some of the places you've been at cause that is not the case in some places I've stayed.......including Squires Manor. Dont get me wrong, I've had good management who I enjoyed doing business with, but I've had more than a few who made me want to move out early. Are you sure your not a manager yourself, you got pretty fired up defending Apt. complex management?
