We lived here for a full year then moved on due to work. I try to write honest/non-bias reviews but this place makes it hard.

First, the good. The condition of the apt. was good. No complaints there. The surrounding area is beautiful. Deer romp in the back yard of the complex. The pool is very nice and well kept. It is not noisy here at all. Everything you need is in the local area.......shopping malls, nice grocery stores (we recommend Shop N' Save) and plenty of places to eat. It is near, or rather in, South Park. There is a wave pool and great places to walk in the park. Parking is never an issue here, I loved that.

The bad. First and foremost, the staff are dishonest. They charge utilities by combineing everyone's heat bill into one then splitting it up. Yes, you got it right, they charge for utilities but can not itemize them. Thats not legal BTW. So, in the end, no matter how carefull you are, you pay a mint for gas and elec. cause you are paying for the heat of the elderly who populate the place and keep their apartments 100 degrees all winter. There is a washer and dryer.......two machines each for an entire complex. Yeah, you'll be using the local laundrymat cause they are impossible to get a turn with. No in unit laundry option here. When we got there, there was a car wash port, then they took that away to save a couple dollars......even left nasty notes on everyone's doors about not asking to use it anymore. There tried to charge us for utilities LONG after we had moved out. Had to get a credit lawyer involved. They insisted we owed major gas/elec. money......but couldnt produce an itemized bill for the dates and services. In my opionion, someone in their office is pocketing payments and will be caught eventually, but until then......keep detailed records of you payments or they will try to burn you when you move out. The apartments are well layed out but smallish, the bathroom especially is not very comfortable. You MUST rent a two bedroom or forget it, you will be cramped. Finally, you must own a car to rent here. Public transportation is non existant.
