Where to begin' My apt had a hole in the roof where the rain was leaking in. It evolved from a slow drip, to a rushing torrent over the TEN WEEKS that it took them to fix it. During that time, I had to rush home every time that it rained, to empty the buckets of brown water that would have otherwise overflowed. It would even leak 1 or 2 days after it stopped raining, as the water was soaked into the insulation. The hole grew big enough to fit your head in. The owner told me that a new roof would cost him a lot of money. When I argued with the owners wife about not paying my rent until the roof was fixed, she promptly RAISED MY RENT THAT NIGHT (and backdated the notice several months to make it look as though it had nothing to do with our argument).

I don't know a single tenant that has anything good to say about the landlords. I don't know anyone that hasn't complained about leaving messages and not getting return calls. My apt has so many problems (plaster falling off the walls, water stains on the walls, rust stains in the sink, holes in the wall around the bathtub, etc) that it would take all night to list. They don't plow the parking lot (apparently they don't own the parking lot, only the buildings themselves, so they don't feel its their responsibility to plow). There is poison ivy growing into my bedroom window. I already went out there once and climbed under bushes and hacked as much of it away as i could. Of course, it all grew back.

There is 1 maintenance guy for 66 units. Do the math. Previous owners employed 2 or 3 maintenance guys on staff at all times, along with several women in the office, on duty to assist you with your needs. All office staff has been eliminated. If you have a problem, you have to call the owners wife who lives in northern New Jersey.

Rather than this being just a rant, let it serve as a warning to anybody that was even considering moving here. I'm currently looking elsewhere.
