I lived in a 1 bedroom apt in Americana. The location is about the best there is, but the quality wasn't that great. In the bathroom, the plaster was peeling off the walls, there was a leak from the bathroom upstairs, the towel bar and toilet paper holder fell apart. Our garbage disposal broke and it took days for them to fix it. Amount of dresser/closet space was inadequate. There's no AC, so you have to open the windows which don't have screens. Our apartment was constantly full of bugs from the open windows. It can also be very noisy and the halls are sometimes a mess.

I liked the short walk to class, but I wouldn't live there again due to the problems mentioned.
