The AR comments written on 1/31 are hilarious. First, I thought it was weird that used all album names for their IDs (how many college students actually listen to Miles Davis anyway'), but there were various other very funny aspects about these posts which gave me a hardy chuckle. My favorites:

1) The guise of faux typographical errors was nothing short of brilliant (especially when the Indian immigrant misspelled his own home city)

2) It is one thing to give all perfect marks for the apartments but the "attractive" rating for the staff was delightfully narcissistic.

3) The cheap shot (as if there were any shortage on these boards) against the "Apartment store" (take that, federal libel laws!) was priceless, along with a curiously vague review in the Apartment Store thread on the same day.

4) My favorite post was the one that reflected the accusations from tenants back at them for being renters and not homeowners. To suggest that it is Average Jill Penn Stater's own fault that she's being charged $60 for a burned-out lightbulb because of the inexcusable fact that she doesn't own the entire Penn Tower building is a lesson in mastered rhetoric. AR is absolutely correct in this situation though; it is truly offensive and a breach of etiquette for a renter to voice objection against a realty company's gross, corrupt, incapability to run a business scrupulously.

Rember AR, you can't take any guff from these renting swine. Give them an inch, and next thing you know they'll be expecting satisfactory living conditions. Can you even imagine'



Either way, keep up the top-drawer work AR! Even though you almost single-handedly made me loathe a town I once loved, you still stand as the beacon of integrity in State College. I can't wait to see the new lows you stoop to in the future!
