Briarwood staff sucks at life

I have a very nice view.
HOWEVER: The maintenance people here are horrible. Terrible. Awful. Most recently, the new deadbolt on our front door (the one that worked correctly until they came around to "check" it) stopped working, and on my way out the door that morning I called the front desk to ask that it be promptly fixed. I returned home TWELVE HOURS LATER to find the door unsecured. In a complete rage, I called the emergency maintenance guy on call that night who arrived a half an hour later, as he said he would and fixed the problem in all of 30 seconds. he apologized for his coworkers, saying they must have forgot to come by. The girl at the office that I spoke with that morning said, specifically, that someone would be by THAT morning. So, about ten minutes ago, here comes a knock on my door (this is eight days after my initial call). It's maintenance, cross-eyed and reeking of stupid, come to fix the already fixed door.
A little while after I first moved in, I was home alone, around nine thirty at night. Some one begins POUNDING on my door. When I check my peephole, I see a tall man in a black leather coat who I have never seen before. He THUDS on the door several more times before I say forcefully, and terrified, "GO AWAY". "Ma'am", he shouts, "Maintenance! There's an emergency leak on the top floor!" What the crap, guys' Really' Why did I give Briarwood my phone number' Do they just collect them, or do they not realize these are digits that can be used to contact me'
NOW, what's broken.....' Fridge-freezer (which we were told would stop defrosting if only we would "stop putting stuff so far to the back of the freezer"),the dishwasher had to be replaced because it was FLOODING our kitchen ( the maintenance people made a point of asking my fiance how the new dishwasher was the first time they saw him afterward), the pull-open closet doors have come completely off the track, the outlet in the bathroom does not work, kitchen sink spews out either a painfully intense randomly placed torrent or the tiniest gutter trickle...I am SURE that I'm leaving something out. Dryers do basically nothing on the first run.
I have no complaints about noise.
The office staff tends to make me feel like I'm being difficult when I call to ask that something be fixed, or to complain about the insane level of incompetence it must take to leave someone's apartment unsecured for 12 hours and not see why someone has a right to complain.
Costs too much. For what I pay, I should be treated like....oh, I don't know...some one who PAYS A LOT OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING. I have never been late on rent, we don't break anything, we don't make noise. We are good tenants who just want things to work the way we were promised they would work and pay for them to work.
I'm considering taking the doors and windows with me when I leave. They owe us.
