Terrible place to rent from. I guess the office help is where I should have noticed the red flag. they are very unhelpful and simply dont care. Never return phone calls, and to avoid talking to you you always get there voicemail when dialing there extension. If you rent from these people and have delt with this just hit zero....your get the secretary who eventually will track someone down in the office to help, even though it is usually someone who doesnt really know the answer. They just make it up. There apartments are crap and so in the maintenance staff. To try and get somone to fix something is like trying to change the weather. YOu have to watch for them to be around and corner them and drag them up to your apt to do whatever it is you need them to do. Its also best to make sure that they dont have the termostat for the entire building in one of your neighbors apartments so that your neighbors can turn down the heat to 55 degrees in the winter while it is 20 outside. Apparently there is to be a tamper proof box over it...obvisiouly not folks. They will also rip you off with the security deposite. I moved in with 2 girls that rented from them before and they took basically all of there security deposite for bogus stuff to try and rip you off. You wont get your money back until you dispute the charges and threaten to sue. At that point they will re-evaluate your charges. Wait a second...they evaluated it in the first place to be correct...whoops we charged a little to much here and a bit to much there. They are the ones in this buisness and should not be trying to screw us students from the beginning. To top off there greed problem even more they will send you fines for violating the lease in hopes you wont have the guts to call them up and dispute them. But know when you do...they say we will look into it and get back to you...well that was several months ago and I am still waiting on a phone call from them. So the point is this. This company will try and minipulate you to the furthest extent...but know that you can minipulate them back because they have nothing to back up what they are saying. But the bottom line is that we should not have to deal with greedy, stealing landlords at all. Stay as far away from these people as possible...they dont deserve your money or time.
