Pick a 2 bedroom over a 4 bedroom Apt

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
I had the pleasure of working for this complex my first summer there. University Commons looks much older then it actually is (I think its about 9 yrs old now). It took them several years to do the exterior painting it needed... and yes the Shingles literally flew off the buildings on a regular basis.
I lived in a rather nice 3rd floor, 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment ($421 each). The Mainance staff was awesome and the Security Officer (who was my downstairs neighbor) was equally fantastic... By 9am the parking lot was usually plowed and in the summer the maintenance staff was onsite either finishing draining the hot tub or doing misc other choirs...
In the front office, Darleen (the accountant) was organized and almost all problems could be fixed on the spot.
UC is Loud at times. The four bedrooms more so then the 2 bedrooms... this is due not only to the number of tenants in those areas but also the fact that the 4 bedroom building are packed closely together.
Bus access is good, though the covered bus stop was often vandalized.
I have no idea what the new Management is like, but the former manager, Connie, was awesome... She was the only person who literally attempted and was successful at learning each and every tenants name by face. And the mailman was the only other person that even a year after moving out, could name the tenant of any apartment if you asked him specifically.
Individual leases were awesome and if you sign before rent increases, you get grandfathered in to the cheaper rate... So sign early...
UC was pleasant to live out, but I did move around the corner after about 15 months there (I subletted 3 months before signing a lease). The down side to UC is, its not as roomie as a townhouse and the building are getting old. Instead of raising the rent each year, they should be taking into account the age of the buildings verses other nearby communities (ie. The Pointe & Copper Beech). AND the panic button (alarm in every room of the apartment) is frequently pressed and is very annoying... HINT: Please Soda Cap Over and Tape On To Protect against "Accidental" pushing...
I should mention I lived there YEARS ago and I have been told everyone on staff has since left.
