Lion's Crossing formerly University Commons Apartment
< | >
When I lived in University Commons, my rommate had a psycho ex who threatened to kill us both. Despite providing police reports, Darleen refused to move me because "there were no other two bedroom apartments." I had to threaten her with a lawyer in order to be moved to a 4 bedroom and still had to pay the rent for a 2 bedroom! Personal safety of students is of no concern to these people, someone is arrested for threatening your life and they just allow him to walk right into your apartment!!!! Please beware of this place. I have heard, however, that Darleen was fired (Thank GOD!!!!) Also, the "no pet" policy was never enforced, a woman lived down from me with 30 some odd cats and the stench from walking by was enough to choke you! if you have asthma or allergies, do not rent from these people, they allow pets despite what the rental agreement says.

Actually, I had a similar experience with a summer roommate that moved in and then left and gave her key to someone else and he came in whenever he wanted. He wasn't a threat, but he did come in at bad times like after I got out of the shower. I told him to knock and I told the staff and had the locks changed (which I payed for) and they still said he could have a key if the summer roommate gave him one.
