Some Pros and Cons

This place like all has its pros and cons.

Pros:Parking was great lots of room and many guest parking spots. My place was recently renovated so inside was very nice. Appliances were basically new. We had a problem with our refrigerator and they brought us a brand new one! Grounds were well kept. Our hot tub ran year round even through the winter! Always had free stuff given out at the office. Management was great and very understanding. Weight room was nice.

Cons:Some of the fixtures and appliances were not so energy efficient. Windows were single pane so they let a lot of cold air in during the winter time and etc. for the summer. The air conditioner wasn't that great. Ours always ran, but that may be because we were on the third floor. Sometimes it got a little noisy on the weekends. Busses were the main problem. They would only come evey so often and slim down towards the night ends. When going to the bar at nights you would have to leave around midnight to catch the last bus home. The busses were unreliable too. I had to stand outside for 2 hours waiting for one on campus. That will be fixed soon , because Centre County is putting GPS units on the busses so that you can track them live at any computer that has internet access.

Overall, the place was great. Rent was fairly cheap for the amenities and the rooms you get. I now live in a dump. I couldn't stand the busses so I moved to Copper Beech's Townhouses on West Hamilton Ave. What a joke these places are, compared to University Commons. I didn't realize how nice I had it!
