The management here is TERRIBLE!

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008
This is currently my third year living in this apartment complex. The first year, it was University Commons. During that year (I believe) it was bought out by College Park (who owns like a half dozen complexes along Martin St. and Vairo Blvd.) and now it's Lion's Crossing.
First off, I'd like to say that the apartments themselves aren't too bad. Sure, the insulation is terrible and the windows offer none, but the rest of the apartment isn't so bad. The dishwasher, washer, and dryer have always worked pretty well. The furniture isn't so bad. The apartment is pretty decent. It's just that it gets really cold in the winter due to the poor insulation.
Now, onto the staff:
The office personnel are pretty nice and easy to deal with. The students who work there are all good people and the "middle management" is fine. Also, the maintenance people are great and very quick with issues (other than our window in the living room which has been broken all 3 years as evident of the humidity in between the 2 panes of glass).
The problem here is that blond-haired "female dog" of a manager which College Park put in to run the place. It is as if her bonus is directly proportional to how much money she rips off of the student tenants, AND SHE IS MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO SO!
Therefore, I suggest you STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND ALL OTHER COLLEGE PARK COMMUNITIES.
