This place is party central. They sell you by telling you that it is mostly grad students and that it is a quiet place to live. No way. Most days you can't hear yourself think and on the weekends don't plan on doing any work in your own apartment that you are paying a ridiculous rent for...because you won't be able to concentrate. Its constant blaring music, people yelling, running up and down stairs, its like a daycare center. And when you say something to the office they say the same thing...call the cops. Right, that hasn't done a thing all three times I've tried it. This place is a joke. Don't count on this place being under the same management in two or three years, its turning into a dump.

i'm so sad to hear about Lions Gate becoming a dump!!!!! i'm peruvian (south america for those who are bad at geography) and i lived in lions gate from 1989 to 1990, i was 10 to 11 years old and i was there with my family because my dad was doing his Master at penn state. i just got to this web page through google earth, i got nostalgic and wanted to know from state college again. to bad it's going down. if anyone has some good news i'll be glad to hear it. greeting from Peru!
