My boyfriend and I have lived here for a year now and like it, but we are moving out of the area. It is expensive, but not compared to other apartments in the area, and the rent includes all utilities(except electricity). Yes, in the winter time you may get charged extra if the gas prices go up. Also, we had a problem this winter with snow removal...there was 3 feet of snow and maintenance left a note saying we were responsible for removing the snow from our spaces(which aren't assigned), but they would provide shovels. They cleared the parking lot on the 2nd day though.
Maintenance has always come within 24 hours of recieving the complaint.
We rarely hear our neighbors(although that stuff should be expected in an apartment). We can hear our neighbor upstairs vacumn and one of the other neighbors puts music on really loud at 3am, but other than that, it's been quiet.
As for bugs, we live in a basement apartment, so it's to be expected, but the complex has an extermination service. If you have a problem, they will come and spray for you. We haven't had many problems with bugs though.
Helen has always been helpful when I've been over there, as have the rest of the staff.
I've never had any problems with safety here. A lot of people leave their doors unlocked.
Overall, the apartments are very large, and have plenty of closets(including a walk in). I would recommend this complex.
