We lived here 99-01 in one of the 1 bedroom deluxe apartments. Generally we liked living here but there are a few things you should know.

1. It is noisy. The walls are paper thin. We were on the top floor so thankfully had noone above us but you could be walking about the apartment and know what was on TV because you could clearly hear your neighbors. You could here discussions, arguements, radio everything. When in your bathroom you could hear the person in the next apartment piss !!!

2. It is not in good repair. Generally something will be wrong and thats just the way it will be the whole time you are there. The maintenance staff appear to know nothing and no matter what is wrong the same person will appear and try to patch up the problem - don't expect it to work the same again.

3. They are always doing some type of work!! While we were there we had to deal with new windows being put in, brickwork being replaced, and much more. These times of work usually last 1 week and are 8-4 on these days so unless you enjoy listening to construction - your apartment is out of bounds.

4. Except to have your laundry stolen at least once and except the office to do nothing.

5.Expect bugs in the summer - especially ants. Again expect the office to do nothing.

6. Expect your smoke alarm to go off everytime you cook. The kitchen has no ventilation - no window, no fan, nothing. Safe - huuu.

7. One other thing is that it is not very secure. If you go to see this apartment check out the lock. There is one small lock on the door. Lock it and push against the door - You'll see.

8. The office staff are generally not very bright and pretty damm rude. If you have a problem expect helen to bring it up sarcastically every time you have any sort of contact.

9. Expect to pay for your free heat in the winter. Its a clause in a part of the lease.

Overall we found another apartment - the same price but with a staff that cared and a dishwasher and a garbage disposal and other amenties.

Keep looking and if you live here just know what to expect.
