i've read the other comments and found them unfair. it was made vary clear that personal property is your responsiblity. epecially in cases of flood. this is standard all around town. maintance is good. When i moved in the appliances were old but working. when they quit the refrigarator was replaced the same day and AC was replace in two days. they replaced my bathroom sink after a yearly inspection and i didn't even ask for that. compared to other places this is a good place to live. you hear the neighbors no more than you do in any apartment place, and unlike other places in town my cat lives with me legally. There are no surprise inspections multiple times a month like at Nittany Crossings. I'm not surprised some people complain about the staff and bugs because, quite frankly, there are a lot of spoiled children who are away from mom and dad for the first time and they are clueless. they don't know how to deal with people, they think they can yell and demand things because that's how it works at home. And if you have to squish a bug or two so be it. The other places spray copious amounts of pesticides which are bad for you and the environment. It's a simple matter of looking at the bigger picture instead your momentary comforts.
