Don't be fooled by your first look into this apartment. Lots of problems you may realize after moving in for several months. If your bathroom sink blocks, don't expect the maintainence could appear and fix it soon. It takes several weeks for those guys to repsond.

The rental office will never apologize for their faults and in fact they keep making mistakes. And they won't become satisfied until ripping you off by deducting at least 2/3 your desposit when you move out. Lots of charges are ridiculous and unreasonable.

Their business strategy is to attract those newly arrived students who are in urgent need of finding a place to live. They may treat tenants nice at the beginning, once tenants sign the contracts, they don't give a damn care about you.

Just be careful when you move in Nittany Garden, when you move in, carefully mark everything in the checklist and report it to rental office. Otherwise, you have to pay a high price for it when you move out.

You can mark every damage in your move in report. But you will find you are wrong in thinking this could protect you in your move out time. The office has an army of women good in yelling, screaming, and arguing, even more important, highly creative in imaging excuses in stealing your deposit.
