Has anyone noticed that in the last two weeks positive, over-the-top reviews have been posted for Nittany Gardens' Are we really supposed to believe that this isn't contrived' Come on, Apartment Store, you can do better than that. Even for a management company whose apartments are in blatant disrepair, and who will rent to any drudge who can cough up rent, I expect a little better planning and aforethought with regard to when to post false, misleading reviews--at least space them out or change their content! Take it from someone who currently lives in Nittany Gardens and is only here because I am unable to break my lease-- the fixtures are ancient, the air conditioner and heat are consistently broken, there are dogs barking constantly and random, obviously mentally ill adults walking the grounds daily. Additionally, those in the leasing office are extremely poor in customer service and the property manager is even worse. Please do not believe these false reviews. There is no reason for me to mislead--I only want to save the next graduate student from a year of noise, wasted money, and frustration.

I completely agree. I lived there for a couple years (I've written a review about a year ago if you check the archives) and damn.. I've never seen such a fake-out of reviews in my life. They're not even spaced out in a logical time frame and the constant "it's quiet!" and "the office staff is nice!" is so ridiculous it's laughable (especially to those of us who have lived there before).

I am one of the tenants who wrote a positive review. I have lived here for almost 2 years and have not had a single problem. Also, I almost had to get out of my lease due to work relocation. Dawn was SUPER helpful and said all we had to do was sublet ourselves or pay the $50.00 charge to have The Apartment Store post our listing for us. Honestly, if living in NG was as bad as some of you are saying, you'd find another place to live...regardless!

These people have problems. They need to grow up and realize the world isnt perfect nittany gardens is a great value and an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY LANDORD. They wont turn you away just because you aren't rich and attractive. The office staff is friendly and the maintenance is very quick and reliable. I am a resident and have left a god review no one is falsely reviewing the building some people just need to grow up because they arent living in rich mommy and daddy's house anymore. Yeah that is to all you stuck up rich students
