I've lived here a few months and I am generally satisfied with my apartment, but it was a rocky start with the office staff, but persistence pays off. It's a good value, can't beat the price for what you do get, but I have had a few maintenance issues, mainly that my heating/air conditioning works very poorly. The air conditioning is especially bad, it couldn't cool the apartment down below 80 degrees. A few trips calls/trips to the office to complain about it and eventually the maintenance person said they would switch out the unit this coming January, when they do the non-emergency replacement of these a/c units. We will see if they actually do that. My only other complaint are the kitchen cabinets (obviously the originals). They are in bad shape and I'm not sure why they didn't replace them as everything else in the kitchen (appliances, counter tops, tile floor) was recently replaced. I do have a neighbor that smokes like a chimney, get some stale smoke smell in my apartment from time to time, but I've had that problem in just about every apartment I've been in. I wish some of these apartment complexes would offer smoke free buildings. Despite the problems I've had, I couldn't find a better deal. And the bottom line, don't give up on maintenance problems, just keep asking, and schedule a time for maintenance to come when you can be there. They are a lot more friendly than the office staff and will get you a lot farther with fixing the problem.
