This is, by far, the BEST place to live in State College. I have been 95% pleased during my whole stay. I find the property extremely well kept and the grounds impeccable at ALL TIMES.
The apartments are modern and nice --patio or balcony, central AC, dishwasher, etc.
The staff (office, maintenence, etc.) is friendly and extremely kind and helpful! They have a very demanding job --but still retain an air of helpfulness, friendliness, and courtesy.
I know several folks who manage properties (or have in the past--friends, relatives) and it's NOT as easy a job as it looks, they say.
The other thing I love is the SAFETY factor. It's a nice, SAFE place to live --one never has to worry about a thing. AND, the residents are all pretty friendly --smile a lot, say hello, etc. If I had to identify a negative or two (to be fair --everything isn;t perfect anywhere): 1) Guest parking needs to be revamped. Some bldgs's guest parking is right near. My guests need a shuttle --2) Children are a bit boisterous at times --but it's getting better for some reason.
BUT, otherwise, I cannot recommend this place any more HIGHLY.
