This apartment is one of the cheapest in town because the government subsidizes low income families to live there.



The staffs in Park Crest often take advantage of their position in desiding where or not low income families can live.

They need a lot of verification and signature. Sometimes, they ask us to lie on their paperwork. So be careful! Do not sign something suspisious.



Moreover, don??t expect quick maintanence. Often you better do it by yourself and at your cost.



This apartment is mostly for low income families, however some young university undergraduates live too. Then, you may feel terrible if you are living under young students. Sound proof is worst ever!



I recommend a family with kids to go 1st floor only. If not, you may leave soon because of complaints from downstair-neiborhoods.



Mostly clean houses but now thet degragate quickly. Select carefully.(especially bathroom. many leaking problems)



Two bedroom apartment is quite noisy when heating/airconditioning is on. The fan noise bothers me watching TV. The volume gets louder and louder.



There are significant discrepancy in heating cost between 3rd and 1st/2nd floor. Roof is not well insulated. Very cold especially if your house faces north. If you want to make it warm, you need to increase the temperature guage and more noise and dries the room.



So dry, I installed a humidifier. It is also painful to change water and filters. Heating air comes from the ceiling. To make the hot air reach to the floor, you have to waste energy and make the air drier and drier.



Too many to point out. We lived there two years. My wife felt quite depression when we lived there. All the terrible combinations makes living miserable.



Finally, I want to mention about the office staffs, again.

Worst racest. you may notice the other reviews down there. That is right.

No need to add.



Now, there are plenty of other new apartments around state college. Even for low income families, there are now many choices. Please make this apartment be your last choice.
