You can't please everyone - READ THIS

I have read the reviews of Park Crest Terrace. In fact, some of my neighbors recently came to me to tell me that there was an organized effort to slam the office staff by posting poor reviews here on this site by a former disgruntled tenant. I read what they said and I can only say one thing. YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE BUT PARK CREST TERRACE SURE TRIES. I have dealt with the employees of Park Crest Terrace, both maintenance and management for the past 4 years since moving here from my home country to study at Penn State with my family and I must admit that I am ashamed to be associated with the persons who choose to post these mistruths on this site. In 4 years, no one from the office staff has ever treated me poorly because of my race. In fact, they have demonstrated to me on more than one occasion the utmost amount of patience and understanding dealing with someone trying to adjust to your country and your ways. When I first arrived, I spoke very poor English and the staff demonstrated such patience in permitting me to try and explain my problems when things did break in my apartment. Then, the maintenance staff came often the same day to make it right. In a case where my heat went dead in the middle of winter, the technician took me over to the heater to try and show me what went wrong and why. I have never gone without any repair being done if I asked for it. The rent is affordable and the apartments are nice and clean as well. Plus, getting our parking for free is a plus since other places we first looked at before we moved here charged $50.00 or more per month for a place to put your car.
Please don't judge on what you read here. Give the place a chance and see for yourself. I know others who come from my homeland who live other places which are old, dirty and noisy and the staff is geniunly rude and uncaring. If that is what you want, I guess go live someplace else. But if you want a place that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and the staff is nice to deal with, give Park Crest Terrace a try.
