My wife and me moved from South Korea while I completed my Post Doctorate program at Penn State a few years ago to Park Crest. We had many other Korean people and friends here. At the time, we heard of the apartment's reputation for being affordable and kind. But the place was owned by a different people then.

Now there is new owners and things have changed to not so good. The prices got very expensive. You got charged for all service maintenance calls like a clogged drain or other troubles. I have a friend who had a maintenance man in his apartment for 5 minutes and got bill from manager for $28.00. Its robbery. Many friends have lost much if not all of their deposits for untrue damage charges. The owners do not care at all. This past winter we had much water leak into the apartment and ruin many belongings and they did not care.

Also the Manager, Mr. Hilton who was always very kind and helpful and the only person who tried to do anything good is not here anymore either. I was told the owner fired him but I do not know for sure. I will say that many of the workers who had been here have all left so that should tell you something about their bosses.

We moved after 3 years at the end of July and I would never go back seeing how bad it has become. Many other friends left too. Its just not nice like it was before.
