After living in many apartments in this area over the years, Park Forest Apartment has the most courteous and friendly office staff and the fastest, most reliable maintenance people I have EVER dealt with. (I have lived in State College since 1992 both as a student and as a professional). While the interiors could use minor work here and there, overall, they are spacious and nice for the money. The grounds are well kept and most of the residents are very nice. My neighbors are obnoxious, but you run that risk in any apartment complex situation (or when you own a house for that matter). I've recommended these apartments to several people who have moved in and are also happy with the community.
