This place seems to take forever to plow the parking lot. In the lease rules they say the residents are responsible for removing the snow from the parking spaces. This would be ok if there were assigned parking spots for the residents. Other problems I have noticed is that the fitness room has a lot of equipment that is constantly in need of repair. Public areas like lobby, hallways, laundry rooms, fitness center, are slow to be cleaned up (notice trash and other things seem to lay around for days, yes I could pick them up but that is what the cleaning staff is supposed to do.) High speed internet provided by management is worse than dial up.

Why can't the staff clean up these buildings? Not only does the place smell horrible from the asians' cooking and their presence here in general. You can't step foot in this place without smelling the crap they cook in their units. They are all cheap skates and are second-class so you will find they seem to fit in here. They travel in groups, or packs seemingly, and they have little to avow to modern American society. However this is a classless place and a dump, as is State College in general and it's no secret. No one wants to be here as they just are stuck here for life's obligations. Even so, don't choose Parkway Plaza for any bit of time, avoid it like the plague. You have drugs going rampant in this place with the people setting up shop right near the school buildings. Then consider the bums who spend their day living off a fixed income and trekking down to Weis Markets. They are creating a detriment to society here which is getting a little worse; they push along the shopping carts all through the buildings here at Parkway Plaza, leaving them in the hallways irrespective of safety codes. Apparently feeble, they can't just have a normal shopping trip and go to a real even half-decent market and bring home bagged groceries. This isn't the case at Parkway Plaza however, people are content with suffering and polluting themselves with a horrible apartment and atrocious surroundings. Maintenance never fulfills my requests about the leaky sink. The smell is horrible outside my unit and I can smell it in my unit at times. I lost hot water for 19 days in January. The neighbor's here at this location in particular are very loud and will make loud crashes and thumps at night. A police officer asked me if he could come in my unit one day last month about a complaint. He said drugs were suspected to being used here. I declined to his request and don't know why this occurred. I assume it was for another tenant on my floor as I hear arguments about drugs and drug prices sometimes across the hallway. Oh, and the rent went up already for next year, and I won't be here to pay rent anymore then. Thanks for your time. P.S. If you're asian, you're probably well suited for this place, just don't feel discriminated against cause you made this place stink, literally, it's the truth.
