Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999
I lived here my senior year of college, on West College Avenue. I think it was 409 West College (we picked it because it had a front door, whereas the other apartments they showed up were missing their front doors). I thought an older place would have "character". Character means
1.) One (1) hot water heater for fourteen (14) apartments. Needless to say, if you wanted a hot shower it had to be between the hours of 1am-5am.
2.) Walls that were paper thin. Tossing up some cheap paneling does not make a wall!
3.) Horrible maintenance...HORRIBLE. My window broke in November and it took about two weeks to get fixed. I had to use newspaper as my window (although it really fit the ghetto motif!)
Ahh, memories. I guess there is nowhere to go but up! I have graduated and moved on and after three years of therapy am able to forget the hell that was SUN CORP!!!!
