My boyfriend rented from SunCorp one year. He and his roommate had stuff stolen from them regularly, and despite paying extra money for a "furnished" unit, they ended up with really random furniture and not nearly enough of it. They had to bring up about 5 space heaters to heat the apartment because it was so drafty in there and the heat didn't work, so they'd just end up throwing money away. They ended up hanging blankets up on all the windows to try and keep the heat in, which made the apartment dark and gloomy. The main way to get to their apartment was via an escape ladder in the back, which was icy all winter and super dangerous. We slept in multiple layers every night.

Beyond that, there is no way this place was up to code. There was mold everywhere, the shower didn't drain no matter how often we draino-ed it, and they used little patches of carpet to cover up bare floor (I mean no tile or anything below it). On the plus side, they're so disorganized that my boyfriend ended up just not paying his last 5 months of rent, and nobody said anything to him. Even now, 4 years later, they haven't mentioned anything.

They lied about the condition of another apartment that my roommates and I were considering renting. They said heating bills were normally about $80-100 per month in the winter, but when we talked to the girls that lived there they told us they were about $200 because of how drafty the place was. They also had mice, and ended up buying a cat because they couldn't get rid of them with traps since there were so many.

All of the SunCorp buildings should be condemned. I bet if anyone looks into it, they'll find plenty of violations everywhere. Don't rent from here! Their properties are so scummy and awful! Also, I've never had to deal with their management, but I hear they are absolutely impossible, terrible people.
