My fellow residents refered to the owner of Continental as a slum lord. If you live there, feel free to make your own evaluation.
The maintenance is minimal to keep the health department to keep them from shutting down. To my understanding, they are only budgeted to have one maintenance person, one day a week for the whole complex. The washer in 821A was broken more than it was working.
I had my car stolen from my parking lot from Walk's towing, even though I has a pass in the window. Management didn't care.
They kept several hundreds of dollars from my security deposit for work that had been neglected from when I moved in. I had video tape of these issues. They didn't care. They also charge a surcharge on top of the 'damage' that they charge you for. I believe that this is against Pennsylvania law. Next time that I am in state college, I will be down at the courthouse to get my money back! (You hear that John'!) Anyone game for a class action suit'
