Rent the place and it is all yours, come back from a party late at night only to find out that you have a roommate! Not a single notice that this person was moving in! Not a phone call, not an email, not even a simple letter in my mailbox. All they really care is that you pay them a bit too much for what you get. While the security deposit is rather low compared to most places, at the end they can still charge more for damages that you not necessarily caused. It could have been your roommate but because the policy is that you are all responsible for damages to common areas you will still need to pay for damages.
