Ok, it's true that parking here is a problem. The roofs on the covered spaces caved in during a snowstorm, and some 100 extra people had to look for parking spaces in the already crowded lot. However, at least management let people park in handicap spaces and pretty much ANYWHERE without towing. There is never any visitor parking open, but the Walmart lot doesn't tow so if your guest can park there it's not a big deal. Granted for the kind of money they charge your guest shouldn't HAVE to, but this is State College and EVERYTHING here is a ripoff. Maintenance is good, my sink was clogged and they fixed it the same day I reported it. They haven't charged us for weird things like I've heard about at other places - everything is pretty straightforward, you pay gas, electric and phone. The management team seems pretty useless and incompetent when you talk to them, but things somehow get done on time. I admit I don't go to the gym every day, probably every 2 weeks when I have time, but I tan a lot and I've never seen any equipment broken. Maybe at the time of those other reviews things were worse here, I don't know. All in all the people who bothered to review the place probably did so because they were angry enough to take the time to do it, but everyone I know who lives here only has minor complaints. Oh, and walls ARE thin, but most units don't back up to your neighbors' apt anyway.
