I thought living at the pointe would be better than living downtown--WRONG! Maintenance comes in no matter when or why, without warning (it'd be nice to not have maintenance knocking on the door at 8am). The office staff are incompetent and stick Late Rent notices in your door after you've already paid your rent. Parking SUCKS and half the time, I had to park 4 buildings down from where I lived. And the walls are paper-thin--you can hear EVERYthing that goes on.
Not only that, but I complained about the guys who lived above me urinating off of their balcony--and nothing happened. I also complained about screens being broken, etc. and NOTHING HAPPENED. And to top it off, I subletted from Aug-Dec of 2004, yet they wouldn't give me my key til I paid for Aug of 2004 AND 2005--when I'm not even there for Aug 2005! So I'm paying for someone else to live there. They also sent me late notices about my rent AFTER I had moved out. Screw the Pointe, you'd be better off living in town.

When you move in you have to pay for August and then they split that in half to pay for the first and last month you're there. You make it sound like you have to pay twice.
