I have read most of the comments on here and they are absolutely true. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! You WILL get screwed on money. I spent 4 days at the end of the lease scrubbing the apartment and left it in great shape and got whacked with a $650 bill while my other roommates did the same and got over $600 bills as well. My neighbor got a $750 bill. After 2 weeks the pool looks like hell and the place goes to ---- very quickly. O yeah and management is the worst most unprofessional staff I've ever dealt with. I feel like standards and laws are being broken with this place.

Dear Parkland 41 ~ You may want to get your facts straight before posting angry reviews!!! If you or your neighbors received a bill in the amount of $600-$700 it was because you either trashed your apartment or you simply owed back rent payments. The Pointe only charges the residents exactly what our cleaning vendors charge us. If you ask, we will provide you with a copy of our bill from the vendor. As for the pool - please stop by any time and look at the pool!! Other than occassional leaves in the pool, (which happens no matter where you are!!) it is kept clean on a daily basis. If it makes you feel better to spew lies on the internet, fine! We can handle it. We know the truth!

You must be employed by Management of The Pointe. Talk to me sister. I am a mother of a tenant who lived in your complex. You're complex is the biggest rip off. I would be ashamed to be employed by a company that enjoys ripping young student off. Read all the reviews and you will see that everyone agrees.

Ever notice that the only people that write in to these places are the ones that are mad? Did you ever stop to consider the other 5,850 people that lived here and were happy?? I guess you never made any mistakes in your life? Every business will have customers that are not happy. That is a fact! Do you know that sometimes kids don't always tell their parents the truth! Do they tell you about the late night parties when they and their friends are trashing the apartments and the surrounding areas of the complex. I'm going to guess that from your response they do not. But, I bet they do tell you how they were charged for fixing things in the apartments (that were broken because of those parties) that they feel are unfair. How do they treat your home? I know, try this ~ make a suprise visit to your son/daughter some Sunday morning and see what they were doing over the weekend! You would be suprised! We spend many hours fixing and cleaning up after your kids! It is our job to keep the apartments in working order. We are not perfect, and have never claimed to be, but we do the best we can but putting out rules that we can only hope your child (actually ~ grown up) will abide by.

What a crock. I currently live in a place with a 90% recommended rating with over 30 reviews. Why else would I bother using this site? Happy tenants love to share their opinions too. I laugh when a place is hated so much that the only people recommending it are management.
