It's not that bad...

I've lived at The Pointe for a few months now and it's not as bad as this rating center sometimes reads. There are obviously problems, such as visitor parking pretty much sucks, but in the same sense, just go over to Nittany Crossing and park near the hole in the fence and you're almost as close to your apartment as any other visitor lot. The only thing in parking other than that would be that they kind of sucks at clearing out spots after this first storm.

The energy costs that has been mentioned really is a crap shoot and it's all on you. My bill for four guys was set at 230.66 for a month, that is until you realize you are looking at Columbia Gas's estimation of use. We went and checked our actual reading, called the company, and got it changed to it's actual price which was around 70 bucks.

Other than that, you basically get what you pay for. It's a good place to live, a little far from campus, especially without a car. But the V and NV are pretty good about getting you where you need to go.

All in all, if you're looking for a decent place to live with pretty good staff, then the Pointe is a perfectly fine place to live, and the whole private room and bathroom is pretty sweet, best deal in my opinion.
