I lived there for a year starting May 2002. I moved out b/c of rent. The rent hikes each year are ridiculous! They are not worth the price in my opinion. However, there isn't a lot else to choose from in the area - college kids have trashed most other apartments. Glenbrook's apartments are for the most part pretty nice. There are some patches in the wall and the paint jobs are really not very good. As far as maintenance goes, well, they got to it eventually. Skunks and snakes are around, you're right on the creek. They were pretty good about snow plowing right away, they just didn't do that great of a job. The apartments next to it seem low-income. They occcasionally pose a problem. The manager was always very nice and personable. Neighbors were also great. I guess I would recommend it if you can afford it.
