A whole new spin on pain, suffering, and anguish

When we first signed a lease we were not allowed to see the apartment we were going to rent. When we showed up the day to move in the carpet was covered with water in the entryway and had been starting to mildew. The problem was reported and took calling the department of health as well as the city engineer to have the Fairways replace the carpet at their expense.
Other problems range from poor heating due to the age of the apartments, high electric bills due to privatization of electric services, and slow response to maintenance issues.
In short this was a very unpleasant experience and would suggest to others to fully research apartment options in the area before signing any lease here.
