I previously moved from the fairways (last month) and lived in on the townhouses on the golf course. My overall review of the actual townhouse was about a 4. The townhouses are nice, but overpriced.

My comment on the neighbors and the area is that there was too much drama. I swear the following stories are not a lie. We had one direct neighbor who committed suicide and we were told by the management office that it was a common occurence. We talked to other neighbors and found out that this WAS A common occurence. Roughly 2-3 suicides per 4 months' So ask if anyone has died in your home before you move in, they are obligated to tell you...

Further, most neighbors tend to be overly loud and uncaring towards personal property (ie cars, we had two severe scratches to our vehicles from other neighbors). Further, we have witnessed numerous police cars arriving at odd hours to deal with domestic issues (including a fight at one townhouse that left blood on the outside of the property and a body bag in the front yard).

As for the management. Jennifer T was a spectactular office worker for the Fairways, and the only one with any sense of decency and politeness in the office. Needless to say she is no longer working for the property. The rest of the staff is unprofessional and rude to say the least.
I would also caution that management is sleezy and dishonest when it comes to your deposit. They will make up a problem so that they can keep your deposit and then also try to charge you for normal wear and tear to the property so that they can have YOU pay for renovations. My suggestion is that you pay only a minimal security deposit and also when you fill out the form that indicates damages, not everything is damaged so you can defend yourself later.

My feeling is that the property is WAY overpriced based on the problems listed above. I would give them a rating of a 1 overall until the above problems can be corrected. I wish all who choose to rent at the fairways to seriously consider the warning listed on this site....

Dont even waste time with management there. I am at a complete loss for words here. They are rude, insulting and argumentative. My lease is up next year and I simply cant wait to move.
