I've lived here for about 4 years, and I moved out this year, the apartments arn't terrible, you really could do worse, but there not good enough to pay the yearly escalating rent rate, and not just $10.00 dollars, they raise the rent by like $85.00 every year. The landlord she does what she can, in 2005 there was a terrible leak in the bathroom, it was like a waterfall over the toilet, it was the neighbors up 2 levels, the water was stopped the same night and the paint was re-done within the same week. Among the good are no roaches,ants or other bugs,very nice plumber, quiet neighbors, good staff effort, close to public trans, and nice living area, hardwood flrs, it is a nice place, but it's not a luxury place, it's like a place you stay until you can afford something better, they also hired someone to keep the lobby's clean and they do a pretty good job, and it's conveinient to supermarkets, pizza shops and little corner stores.

the bad is the security doors don't live up to that, they are constantly broken, but probably by the couple of people who don't care about this place because they don't think they will ever get out, the loud fire trucks, and people trash the lobby but that's ignorance and it get's cleaned up pretty quick, and there seems to be some blackish mold looking stuff growing around the windows in the bathroom and bedroom, and the shower takes literally 20-30 mins to get hot, and it's really annoying to have the water turned off once a month for 2 hrs, and the mailman will just throw your mail into the box like it's trash but that's no biggie,the laundry room is indeed a JOKE but there are 2 very good laundrymats very nearby, and homeless people will sleep on the ground at the side doors and pee but it's a livable place where it counts.The 109 and 107 buses take some getting use to,another plus is cats are allowed...oh yeah and my cat did catch a mouse before.
